I’m a 60ish husband of one, father to three & a follower of the one true God. Additionally, my simple desire is to love passionately, serve graciously & seek the LORD Jesus wholeheartedly. I live in the Appalachian Mountains and take my wife on coffee dates.
Growing up in rural Iowa, I have always found great fulfillment in ministry and following God’s calling. Being obedient to the call on my life led me to attend North Central University to pursue ministry full-time.
After graduating from college in 1986, I found myself in Michigan, where I met my incredible wife of 30+ years. Together we raised our 3 kids. I’ve spent over 40 years as a, senior pastor ( ordained minister with the IAOG), youth pastor, administrator & camp director for 1,000+ campers, & big box store manager.
Now living in the idyllic state of Tennessee, I am thriving by getting to live out my passion for mentoring teens and youth leaders. In today’s world, where there’s so much confusion and destruction, my hope is to bring a little light (or “bring the light of Jesus”) to each person I meet.
